The mobile application of the "World Weather Information Service".

'MyWorldWeather' is a mobile version of the WWIS developed for Android platform. It is equipped with location-based technology to detect the location where the user is located and to provide users with official city weather forecast automatically.

The World Weather Information Service (WWIS) website is the first and the only one global website presenting OFFICIAL weather observations, weather forecasts and climatological information for selected cities provided by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) worldwide.WWIS aims to provide authoritative and reliable weather information of NMHSs around the world to all internet users and media.The WWIS website was developed and maintained by the Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) on behalf of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). By March 2017, WWIS provided official weather information for 2123 cities in which 1997 cities are available with forecast from 135 members while 1961 cities are available with climatological information from 169 members.

Nice fun app, not complicated. Just move around the world and see what the weather is like. Biggest thing I like....... no adverts!

Huge potential but it's missing a lot of stuff. Warnings from NW Services for example.

I really want to use this app because I don't want to support privatized weather services but it's basically unusable to me. First of all, the widget disappears constantly, which is my number 1 usage for weather apps. Second of all there isn't much forecasting available and the display doesn't show completely in app.

1. Incorrect city name (eg Taipei instead of Taibei) 2. Incorrect country (eg. Taiwan isn't a part of China but the app group Taiwan is a part of China) 3. Can't detect my current location
