Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth takes the Ace Attorney series from the courtroom to the crime scene, leaving the legal battle behind while bringing the action to various crime scenes. This time around, the player takes on the role of famed prosecutor Miles Edgeworth, a memorable rival of charismatic legal eagle Phoenix Wright. Edgeworth actively investigates crime scenes in order to pursue the truth behind each case. By solving the challenging puzzles presented him, Edgeworth will work with the police to bring criminals to justice.

A Google user

Amazing game with a unique perspective, an array of complex and likeable characters and a few familiar faces. I felt it took a little longer to complete than the mainstream games, but love how each case is connected. Hope Capcom decide to localise AAI2 in the future. No spoilers from previous AA cases so you can play at any time. Would recomend!

A good mobile port of the game. I had no issues playing AAI on my Google Pixel 3a. I did run into a minor issue in-game for Case 4 which necessitated switching the controls from touch to d-pad due to an inability to leave the courtroom itself. (May want to adjust the "exit" point.) I also liked that the only way to advance the dialogue in conversations was to interact with the arrow, preventing accidental skipping because of mishaps (unlike AJ:AA). STILL REQUIRES INTERNET CONNECTION, THOUGH.

Emil Miller

It's a good game in general but it's very buggy. Often the characters will disappear completely, although saving the game and reloading it will fix this issue. Sometimes the screen/background will go black except for the text and option boxes will disappear, and whole you can still save your game you need to completely close the app in order to get it to work again. While it's relatively easy to solve these problems, the frequency of them gets very annoying quickly.

To be clear, I DO like this game; I bought it when it came out for Nintendo DS. But I just tested this version on airplane mode and I confirmed the following: If you don't have an internet or mobile connection (for instance, you're in a dead zone), you can't play this game. If you got the DS version, good for you. Don't spend your money on the android version until it becomes standalone; better to search eBay for the DS version.

PSA: This game requires an internet connection. This Nintendo DS game from 2009 will not launch, and is not playable, from airplane mode. Absolutely unacceptable.
