Terrific deck builder card game with words, which makes it a lot more interesting for me than most of those sorts of games. The theme is really great and I love the music and art work. It's very creative, and involves balancing your hand with letters with powers and ones you can actually make words with! There's a bug where occasionally an AI opponent will refuse to buy a card if you return to a saved game after a while of not playing. Otherwise pretty faultless game
Great game, decent adaptation. Not nearly as buggy as on launch, lots of early crashes have been fixed. Only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star is that the game still crashes if someone claims the 4th common card instead of ending the game. Also, an undo would be great, I have clicked on the wrong thing a couple of times. Don't need a confirmation every time, but the ability to roll back an incorrect purchase would be greatly appreciated
This is a really excellent game and beautifully presented. However, this implementation is deeply flawed. First there are no rules provided either in the game or via PDF link. This means that several things that happen routinely in the game are a complete mystery to the player. Second, there is no check on trashing a card, meaning that it is very easy to trash cards by accident. Third, sometimes it does not score the words correctly. It also has several serious bugs. Three stars/not recommended
It was a fun game. Now, with the graphic updates, I can't read all of the cards' text boxes on my Pixel 9. The "cute" graphics leave a square over the words, and sometimes the text is blown up so big all of the words just don't fit. I checked settings several times, and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. What's worse, I just bumped the AI to smart, and now the game freezes at the start of the first turn.
Oh no no no, please revert to the original style. I play this game more than a dozen times a week to relax, and the new font and iconography are garish and bulbous. I'm addition, the animation is choppy, now, like my phone is all of the sudden not powerful enough to run the app correctly. Someone completely ruined the Ticket to Ride app to make it feel less like a board game and more like candy crush, please please please don't ruin this one in the same way. :(
