Developer Description
Safely arrange your care online
MedGemak is part of the patient portal MijnGezondheid.net (MGn). Before you can start using the app, you must have an account on MGn. Without this account you cannot register/sign up for MedGemak. To create an account on MGn - and then register MedGemak - your GP and/or pharmacy must offer these modules. Therefore, ask your healthcare provider if this is the case.
What is MedConvenience?
MedGemak helps you to arrange your healthcare matters with your general practitioner and/or pharmacist in a reliable and safe manner. Via your smartphone you have insight into your medication overview and you can order (repeat) medication from your healthcare provider. You can also easily make an appointment online with your GP or send a message with an attachment to your healthcare provider.

• With the functionality “Should I go to the doctor?” you can go through questions from which an advice is formed as to whether you should go to the doctor.
Please note: the options available in MedGemak depend on what your healthcare provider makes available to you.
Your privacy comes first
You link MedGemak once via your DigiD to your account on MijnGezondheid.net. You then log in with a 5-digit code.
Not for rush!
Never use MedGemak for urgent or urgent cases. You must call the known (emergency) numbers of your healthcare provider (GP or pharmacy) or the emergency services. MedGemak is an addition to the communication options you have with your healthcare provider. However, it does not replace them.

Werkt prima. Bij bestellen medicijnen wordt keuze bezorgen/afhalen steevast genegeerd, maar misschien ligt dit aan de apotheek. Login met vingerafdruk zou handig zijn.

Decent app. Can't use it as it doesn't have the ability to use English as opposed to Dutch. Will have to wait to use it until then or a year when I leave learn enough Dutch

Anyone know if I can change the language. I'm still having to use the Internet log in on another device that translates just so can use the app as what I wanted to do wouldn't work online.

Easy part: coupling the app. But sending a message is a disaster. While carefully typing a message into the app, it suddenly interrupts me by asking for my PIN. Once given, my draft message seems lost. Useless this way. Also: I cannot find any way to provide feedback or get human support (so, I'll give ut here). The chatbot chokes after answering a few of its questions.

Wow, nice POC. Looks like an app of the early app days (2011). Should be brought to this era. I would expect I could see all my medical data retrieved from my GP and pharmacy (e.g. all the data the PGO retrieved and is shown on the webpage) But it doesn't show anything useful. Nothing to do with security, an app can also be NEN-7510 compliant...
