This is how you get started with BeterDichtbij
1. Your healthcare provider invites you. You will receive an email about this. Handy: you can use BeterDichtbij to contact multiple healthcare providers.
2. Download and activate the app: you do this once. You then also set your own PIN code, which you then use to log in securely.
3. Send your first message. Share your question, photo or file with your healthcare provider to start the conversation. Your care provider can also make an appointment with you to make video calls via BeterDichtbij.

When it comes to your health, it is of course very important that you can ask your questions in a secure environment. And that you are sure that what you share does not fall into the wrong hands. You can count on that at BeterDichtbij. We are happy to explain to you what our principles are.

Nice idea, can't find a way to translate to English and it won't let me take screenshots with my phone so I can use it's built in translation tool. Thanks a lot for the quick response below! I also emailed earlier today. Hopefully non Dutch speakers are able to understand what's in the app when you add English to it.

Het idee achter deze app en soortgelijke apps vind ik erg goed. Je hebt laagdrempelig contact in een chatsessie met je zorgverlener die zelf aangeeft hoe snel hij reageert. Het is de vraag of interoperabiliteit met andere platformen in de pijplijn zit. Iedereen wil deze markt aanboren en patiënten zitten met tientallen apps voor verschillende aanbieders. Technisch mankeert er nog het nodige aan deze app. Het is mogelijk dat lange getypte tekst verloren gaat en bijlagen sturen werkt slecht.
