Having the Eurail pass and travelling by train was awesome. It was very convenient and it gave us time to transition from one place to the next, we saw something of the countryside and had a bit of a break from lots of walking. I'd highly recommend it! (And we didn't get stranded by snow and poor weather like air travellers did.) We just found the website a bit slow at times. But I am older and am not as au fait with technology as younger people are!
