Manual Camera v3.9
Geeky Devs StudioAbout this app
The Manual Camera app solves the problem of limited camera control on Android devices, benefiting photography enthusiasts who require more manual settings. With its full manual controls and RAW image capture, it stands out in the Photography category, especially for those who want more creative control over their shots. However, its mixed user rating of 3.0/5 raises some concerns about its performance and user experience. Compared to other photography apps, Manual Camera's unique selling point is its manual controls, but its relatively low rating may indicate some shortcomings.
Pros
- The app's full manual controls and RAW image capture are significant advantages for photography enthusiasts who want more creative control over their shots, setting it apart from other camera apps.
- With over 100,000 downloads, the app has a moderate level of social proof, indicating that many users have found it useful for their photography needs.
- The app's lack of ads and in-app purchases is a significant advantage, providing a distraction-free experience for users who have paid for the app.
- The developer, Geeky Devs Studio, provides a website and email support, which is a positive sign of their commitment to user support and feedback.
- The app's small size and lack of permissions required make it a lightweight and potentially more secure option for users concerned about data privacy.
Cons
- The mixed user rating of 3.0/5 raises concerns about the app's performance, user experience, and potential bugs that may affect its overall usability.
- Some users may find the app's manual controls and features overwhelming or difficult to use, especially those without prior experience with manual camera settings.
- The app's relatively low rating compared to other photography apps may indicate that it falls short in terms of features, user interface, or overall quality.
- The paid model of $3.99 may deter some users who are looking for free or lower-cost alternatives with similar features.
Best for: The ideal user for the Manual Camera app is a photography enthusiast with some technical knowledge of camera settings and a desire for more creative control over their shots, likely aged 18-45, who values the ability to capture high-quality RAW images and is willing to pay for a premium app experience.

Privacy
Since the app requires no permissions, it is a relatively secure option for users concerned about data privacy. However, users should still be cautious when using any camera app, as it may access and store sensitive image data. To ensure privacy, users should review the app's terms of service and ensure they understand how their data is being used.
Tips
To get the most out of the Manual Camera app, users should start by familiarizing themselves with the manual controls and settings, which can be overwhelming at first. They should also experiment with different modes and features to find what works best for their photography needs. Additionally, users can optimize the app's performance by closing other resource-intensive apps and ensuring their device has sufficient storage space.

Manual Camera users say on Google Play
The app was nice for the time it was released, still working... but an update will be appreciated. There are features missing that other cameras are using... like zoom in and then manually focus in one movement, one touch move up zoom, move left after that to activate manual focus, up/down to adjust... all in one movement without removing the finger from that single tap.
I prefer this application to all the others, but, reading the comments, I only wish the developer would announce an update to reassure us he/they are still out there. Give us an update and I'll give the app 6 stars!
A great app to take manual photos (quite a few settings my default camera doesnt have). Too bad it hasnt been updated anytime recently, and has no support for multiple cameras (just 1 rear facing and the front camera). Not worth the buy until it gets updated.
Hey developers please update your application features. It does not work with multiple cameras. In fact my phone Samsung A20 has a 13 MP for main camera and MP camera for wide angle then an 8 M front facing camera. I have tested it several times and pictures taken was blurred because it uses the 5 MP cam instead of the main. I hope you will take action to this. I have bought the full app and it is expensive :(
Promising, but (1) Hasn't been updated for latest Android releases, (2) crashes and exit after every lie picture taken on my Note 10+ 5G. I can't recommend when it's not updated for the current version of Android and crashes upon snapping a picture.
