having actual MFA option when every other bank relies on insecure SMS, I have to give you 5 stars. Until the competition catches up :) would like to see an option for standardised TOTP implementation, so that I can use other auth apps like Ente Auth, but good enough for now.
i'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. i have used this app on several Android phones and it has proved more reliable than the usual 2FA SMS method of authentication that other banks use, especially if you are overseas and cannot receive SMS due to no roaming. downside are that it even asks for authentication on transfers between my own accounts which i find very silly. at the very least it should only be to external transfers or purchases. even so, much better than other banks.
It doesn't make sense to me that I need to install an app on the same device that uses the same login details as the main app. The authentication app can directly communicate with the main app to share login details, if it can do this "securely" then is can share the code just as securely, and if it can do that then it is redundant and this whole process can just be done in the main app. 2FA is dumb when implemented in this manner.
often shows " error has occurred " ... cannot open the app
This app would have to rank among one of the worst I've ever come across. Far from intuitive, takes you around in circles, sends some crazy code which, when entered, tells me it's the wrong code. Upon entering it (wrongly) for the third time you are then locked out for five minutes. All I want to do is check my account balance. Why is this so difficult?
