I can understand the frustration. My understanding is that the app got released a week or so ago and I guess we should appreciate that and motivate the developers to fix the issues by providing the constructive feedback. Good on guys, hope the improvements are going to made available soon.
I haven't had any lag or issues, the app itself works great. But it is not going to be useful if everyone turns off notifications. I know the weather is wild right now but I'm being inundated with multitudes of very similar warnings. I wish I could opt for a more curated selection somehow, like daily warnings perhaps, or only a certain level of severity, or to unfollow a certain situation.
Great potential, good UI. Way too many notifications per event (1 for every change?), but not enough detail when you do open them.
11 years late and woefully underdeveloped... as expected from a Government that thinks a football stadium is a higher priority. I'm left wondering why on earth the Government turned down our offer of a free, ready-made alerts app that worked without any mobile network access and could push alerts via satellite? They chose this lack lustre compromise instead. We can only hope that they update it before the next catastrophic event happens!
Great idea very poorly executed. Lots of alerts, but when you click on them it (slowly) loads a blank map. The event list is also empty. Then a few minutes later I get the same alert. The lack of functionality and 'false alarms' make this app dangerous. Hopefully it will be removed from the shop and decomissioned, and a peoper developer can design a functional one.
