quadline v1.3.2
Ivan KovalovAbout this app
The quadline app solves the problem of providing a unique and fun puzzle experience for users, benefiting those who enjoy brain teasers and logical challenges. With a 4.3-star rating and over 500,000 downloads, it compares favorably to other Game Puzzle category apps in terms of user engagement and satisfaction. However, its simplicity and limited feature set may cause it to fall short for users seeking more complex or varied puzzle experiences. The app's ability to provide a seamless and ad-supported experience without requiring any permissions is a notable standout feature.
Pros
- The quadline app boasts a high user rating of 4.3 stars, indicating a well-designed and engaging puzzle experience that meets the expectations of its target audience.
- With over 500,000 downloads, the app has demonstrated moderate social proof, suggesting that its unique puzzle mechanics have resonated with a sizable user base.
- The app's developer, Ivan Kovalov, provides a dedicated website and email support, indicating a commitment to user feedback and potential for future updates and improvements.
- The app's offline capability and lack of required permissions make it an attractive option for users concerned about data privacy and security.
- The in-app purchase model, although present, is relatively non-aggressive, with a limited number of items available for purchase at a reasonable price point of $1.99.
Cons
- The app's simplicity and limited feature set may lead to user fatigue or a lack of long-term engagement, as the puzzle mechanics, although unique, may become repetitive over time.
- The presence of ads, although not overly intrusive, may still detract from the user experience, particularly for those who prefer ad-free environments.
- The app's compatibility with older Android versions (5.1 and above) may not be sufficient for users with newer devices, potentially leading to performance issues or compatibility problems.
- The lack of transparency regarding the data collected by the app, despite not requiring permissions, may raise concerns among privacy-conscious users.
Best for: The ideal user for the quadline app is likely an individual between the ages of 18 and 45, with a moderate to high level of technical skill, who enjoys brain teasers, logical challenges, and puzzle games, and is seeking a unique and engaging experience that can be played both online and offline.

Privacy
Given the app's lack of required permissions, users can be relatively confident in its privacy and security. However, as with any ad-supported app, users should be aware that some data may still be collected for advertising purposes. To minimize potential risks, users can consider using the app in offline mode or exploring alternative puzzle apps with more transparent data collection practices.
Tips
To get the most out of the quadline app, users should start by exploring the various puzzle levels and mechanics to understand the game's unique logic. Additionally, users can optimize performance by closing other resource-intensive apps and ensuring their device is updated to the latest Android version. This game is spectacular. It feels like a true successor to the OG puzzle flash games like Bloxorz in a really cool way. It starts with simple puzzle concepts that mix together to create really engaging puzzles. And the intricacy of the levels scales up really well! I am both challenged and delighted by this game. The UI is super sleek, and my only suggestion is to have a text explanation of each button when you hold down on the option. At the very beginning I didn't know what the buttons did.
Challenging puzzles with access to solutions, move by move, 3 to 6 moves showing at a time, if there's more you can access those as well, in increments.. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to reset the game to start again.. I can go to the beginning but you lose progress tracking.. I've tried clearing Cache and Data and uninstalling the game and doing all of that but none of that resets, and I haven't linked to any other apps to save progress.. Great Puzzle, need to reset! More Levels, Please!
1. game has a beautiful minimalist aesthetic. but I don't think it's great that to understand what an in app purchase does you first have to tap the settings button then tap another button which then opens up a website that explains all those buttons and tells you that the in app purchase removes all ads. also neither in the app or on the website do you actually see how much you will have to pay. that will greatly reduce your sales. 2. finally why is it impossible to replay previous levels?
Decent concept, but menu options are poorly communicated, and connection issues will constantly move you back in levels. Ads every 3 or 4 levels. With how simple and quick they are I do not think it justifies the regularity.
Every 3 levels there's a pop up ad that requires 3 clicks to exit and lasts at least 10 seconds. At this point it's an automatic 1 star no matter how I feel about the game, because I'm spending more time watching ads than playing. Edit: thanks for your response! I believe you can control how often the ads roll, so my review remains valid. Cheers!
