WHAT IS AN ADVENT CALENDAR?
The traditional Advent Calendar is printed on cardboard with little paper windows – one for each day of Advent – which open to reveal further Christmas scenes, so you can count the days to Christmas. Our digital Advent Calendar app is much more exciting, of course, because the main scene and the daily surprises all come alive with music and animation!
Strictly, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve, but most modern Advent Calendars – ours included – start the Christmas countdown on 1st December. We also depart from tradition by including Christmas Day itself and allowing you to interact with the Advent Calendar prior to the start of December!

Beautiful graphics. The Advent Calendar is a festive, interactive, and delightful experience. You can immerse yourself in Christmas nostalgia. Lovely background music.

It's a beautiful ap, with lots of thought and consideration put into the design. I'm not too impressed with some of the inbuilt games like gems and solitaire as they have an extreme bias to fail, far far more than random. Making them more addictive than necessary and giving no sense of achievement. Bad form really, let's the app down. Better to spend time decorating, making snowflakes, jigsaws etc... so much work and imagination has gone into the imagery it really is special otherwise.

It's really annoying to have to log in with user name and password every time one wants to see the advent calendar. So much so that I only sign in once every 5 or 6 days instead of daily.

Like many Samsung users this app is glitchy. Says we need 2x the space to download. Eg 4 gb. After removing the non functioning app AND rebooting I have 8.3 gb space. Cannot download without removing one more app. Suspect entering the apartment won't work anyway as it was pretty random up to now. The advent calendar worked so well other years without the app. Right?
