ABOUT THE JACQUIE LAWSON ADVENT CALENDAR APP
The traditional Advent Calendar is printed on cardboard with little paper windows – one for each day of Advent – which open to reveal further Christmas scenes, so you can count the days to Christmas. Our digital Advent Calendar is much more exciting, of course, because the main scene and the daily surprises all come alive with music and animation!

Strictly, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve, but most modern Advent Calendars – ours included – start the Christmas countdown on 1st December. We also depart from tradition by including Christmas Day itself and allowing you to interact with the Advent Calendar prior to the start of December!

UPDATE - my praise was too soon. That Day 6 Santa game - the star is unavailable sometimes - you click on it and it doesn't materialize. UPGRADE! Thank you for the upgrade for Day 6 Santa game. I still wish we could save progress but the surprise this year is so fulfilling and unexpected!! it makes me want to play even more. I love the whole app but I play Day 6 all year long. thank you

Usually a 5 star release but this year's is just so hard to see. higher zoom would be appreciated, and also zoom into the back layers that allows better perspective. So much is blocked by the front layers. I look forward to the Jacquie Lawson advent calendar every year, but this year I am really struggling to enjoy it due to lack of visual accessibility.

These advent calendars are so lovely. This year's version is different then the previous with there being no presents in the house (games are now scattered around the village) and less cute animal videos because many of them are games now, so I suppose I quite prefer the previous versions for what they offer, but as always this one beautiful and well done.

Use to love this app but now it won't work on chrome

Can only download on my phone. This makes it way to hard to enjoy the app. Phone screens are way too small. Can't easily participate in some of the activities. Can't even see some of the items in the house. I would like it if you would reverse the decision to make it only work on android phone, and have it work an android chromebook, as the previous advent calenders did.
