Sudoku with a twist
In Arrow Sudoku, every puzzle contains a handful of "arrows" laid out in unique patterns. The numbers found along the shaft of the arrow must sum up to the number at the base. This simple rule leads to endless variety in the puzzles you will conquer. Fans of our previous game Miracle Sudoku will enjoy the hybrid puzzles we have included in the collection including Arrow Knight and Arrow Sandwich puzzles. These puzzles were curated by Mark and Simon and include puzzles made by them as well as from a large number of guest creators. Fans of Cracking the Cryptic's channel will recognize many of these authors as some of the most talented creators working today!
In Cracking The Cryptic’s games, players start with zero stars and earn stars by solving puzzles. The more puzzles you solve, the more stars you earn and the more puzzles you get to play. Only the most dedicated (and cleverest) sudoku players will finish all the puzzles. Of course the difficulty is carefully calibrated to ensure lots of puzzles at every level (from easy through to extreme). Anyone familiar with their channel will know that Simon and Mark take pride in teaching viewers to be better solvers and, in these games, they always craft the puzzles with the mindset of trying to help solvers improve their skills.
Mark and Simon have both represented the UK many times at the World Sudoku Championship and you can find more of their puzzles (and lots of others) on the internet’s biggest sudoku channel Cracking The Cryptic.

Arrow Sudoku is the next in a great line of games from the geniuses at Cracking the Cryptic, beautifully executed as usual by Studio Goya. I'll probably buy every app they put out, hours of entertainment for cheap. The difficulty curve on arrows is very nice and teaches you how to think in this rule set. I have not made it to the scary constructor puzzles yet but I greatly look forward to these challenges. Thanks again for another great one Simon and Mark <3
Huge fan of your sudokus here! I have almost all the apps, so i am super satisfied by them. The only thing i would suggest is to optimize the power consumption. In fact, when the app is running or even in background it consumes a lot, which for a sudoku app is a bit extreme. My phone has a big battery and can live from one to two days without recharge, but using these apps I need to recharge it at least twice a day. Otherwise, the sudokus are awesome! Keep up the good work!
The puzzles are great but the numbers on the bottom are waayyy too small! It's difficult to select any of them. The options just above them should be smaller so that the numbers can be bigger.
Love the other CtC apps, and the puzzles here are top notch as always, but the hint system has fallen very short. Rarely does the dynamic hint feature generate a hint, and the static hints often exclude key pieces of logic or use very poor and sometimes incorrect descriptive language. Unlike the other apps, this one is not good for learning. Would love more of these to be tackled by the YouTube channel with links embedded.
If you liked the earlier puzzle packs in large part because of the well written hints, do not get this app. Many puzzles only have the automatically generated hints, which aren't usually very useful. Some of the proper hints are poorly edited and/or require you to do a lot of logic in your head to figure them out. (More than one would expect based on earlier packs.) The puzzles are very good -- arrow sudoku has been moving up in my preferences a lot -- and part of why I buy these is just for the actual puzzle quality, but part is because I can learn via the hinting system and this pack fails utterly on that front.
