It can't keep up with Duolingo, but it really is great if you're learning languages that are for instance not supported. I personally really enjoy learning Slovak with Mondly. Just one slightly annoying missing feature - You can't adjust the day-cycle. Which means if you're a night owl and sometimes learn at 11pm and sometimes 1am, the app recognises it as a loss of the learning streak. please simply add a feature to set your day-cycle to something custom, like 3am. That would be sooo great

Update 2025: It's still an addicting app good for A1/A2 level. B2 is harder to acquire. What's disappointing is the price. It has nearly doubled since last year, and although nice, it feels too expensive for the features. 3 ⭐️ 2022: Very addicting! I like how polished the app is and how the daily tests keep you coming back. I wish there was a multiplayer chat feature to talk to others to try out what I learned! Also, the app has Croatian but not Serbian. I'd like to learn both. Hvala ti, Mondly!

AI pronunciation needs improvement. I wish they used native speakers to guarantee proper pronunciation. Lessons feel rushed without enough focus on vocabulary building. You are thrown into sentences too quickly without learning the words surrounding the nouns. It makes it difficult to retain the other parts of the sentence. The app would really benefit from a proper chat function. It should also include word 'history' telling you the root of the word and the ACTUAL translation of a sentence.

Polyglot here. Courses are...okay. Enough to pique my interest. The lifetime subscription does not give access to future languages they add. It cannot be paid through Play Store, so you can't get points for it. Every menu item for the phone support number to pay for the app just says to email support. Support confirmed via email. Pearson has always been terrible and I'm not even going to bother discussing the lack of accessibility.
