The best language app out there. as long as the user puts in DAILY effort consistently without breaks and is serious about doing so. it is the most effective way to learn languages that ate on the app. BAR NONE. well done and easy to use with great features. just buy it if you're serious about learning a language. if you're just messing around and want to dabble there's a really popular app that'll help you with other lingo for free but it's about 10% as effective as this app.

Pimsleur suits my learning style with an audio focus that's useful for a car or exercising. Plenty of reading material as well. Audio lesson 29 was 7 minutes long instead of 30. Reinstalling resolved it. Periodically it forgets what lesson you are on and dumps you back to lesson 1. Minor annoyance

It's great in some ways, but terrible in others. Easy to learn audibly, but when trying to practice in the hard-to-find practice section, it can often take three attempts before the app realizes you are saying the word/phrase correctly. This is beyond frustrating when every phrase turns into fail-fail-pass, fail-fail-pass, and you never change the way you spoke the phrase. Defeats the purpose entirely if the app makes you think you are incorrect. Also, we need subtitles for the 30min lessons!

no time to think in lectures. have to give up learning Spanish but using this app, because whenever I try to say the answer, I get interpreted by the answer, even if I have to think for less than a second. Have to answer without thinking, and just hope that I get it right.

Early focus (lesson 9 and on) is on phrases that have little use. Progression is great until around lesson 9, then the examples are spoken way too fast. The purpose of immersive apps are to allow for hands-free use. This is not hands free if I continually have to pause and replay due to insufficient pause between prompts and replying or the examples spoken unclearly or too fast. I will be canceling after the first month. It would do wonders to put a playback speed adjustment on the app.
