BC Hydro EV users say on Google Play
connection was smooth and easy using the app
App needs to be used in cellular mode (i.e. no wifi, no VPN). Had to learn that the hard way. Better documentation would have been helpful
it's an OK app but it sends unnecessary notifications. "who cares" if there's "exciting news about new chargers" in a place I don't go? all my BC Hydro notifications are turned off. Contacted support about this but they didn't seem to understand that needlessly interrupting customers isn't helpful. got another "exciting update" today.
They say you can "pay on the go with your credit card: no account necessary", but that doesn't seem possible. It always asks for email and phone number.
After app update I can no longer sign in with my new password. The password field in the app doesn't allow for enough characters fpr a password you can set longer in the link to reset your password. Auto reload is BS and shouldn't be a feature of any charging app. We also shouldn't need 6+ different apps just to charge. Just allow usage of credit cards at the chargers. Can also no longer activate Chargepoint chargers!
