Update: Michael and the development team have been very responsive and great to work with. I use the premium app on my Moto G and everything is working to my satisfaction the way it should. A lot of new features and stat tracking have been added since the app was first released. The great thing I like is that the app is linked to the USGA handicap system, which makes tracking seamless. IMO this is one of the best golf apps available.

I have an Android phone and whenever I am starting a round its good. Then when my screen times out and closes the tracking goes to another hole and I have to open my phone for it to reconnect and get me back to the correct hole and yardage. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, changed settings in phone, and getting very frustrated with just having a speaker for music. I already have JBL speakers. I bought this to get away from carrying around a range finder and friends gave good reviews.

Sometimes the app closes after a notification comes in and then it "loses" your round and you have to exit and wait and hope it comes back to find it. It USED TO let me pick the club I'd hit so I could track distances per club but that seems to be gone in a recent update. There's no support for non-Apple watches, and that's kind of a big deal in this day and age. Will be cancelling my paid subscription and trying another app developer's solution if there's no watch app coming.

Functionality on this app is maddening!! I just bought the speaker, and a 1 year subscription to the app came with it. I have played two rounds now and could not be more disappointed. Adding people to keep score for the group requires you to select them from contact and send an invite. App constantly switching to the next hole when entering scores. speaker stopped displaying yardage multiple times during rounds. decided to return speaker with not so "hassle free" return they charge a fee for.
