Had the free version, switched phones and now can't log in. Asks for a passcode it sent to my registered phone. Problem is, it never had me register a phone number. App is currently useless. Edit: Revised rating. Customer service reached out to me and fixed my issues.

Overall, I've appreciated the app. However, it will periodically be "unable to find circle" and that issue is becoming more frequent! I've taken time to reboot my wifi... restart my phone... check for updates... swap from my 2g wifi to the 5g wifi (or vice versa). One of my children has a new device and I can't get into my app to update that profile!

Once set up, it is ok overall with several annoying problems. 1.Multiple notifications for same issue. Child reaches time limit and will have 4 notifications on my phone. 2. Settings do not save if you have to reinstall. All your devices and settings are wiped and you have to start over if you have to uninstall the app. I've changed phones a couple of times over the years and I have never received a "passcode" message to restore access.

If you use this free with Netgear routers, don't ever switch phones. I (and no one in the forums) can login on a new device. It pretends to send you a passcode to authenticate but that doesn't work because you never asked for a phone number when originally setup. Disabling and re-enabling on the router and starting over doesn't help either. It's almost like you want the free version to die.
