1st Central Connect vVARY
Cambridge Mobile TelematicsAbout this app
Developer Description
The 1st Central Connect app gives you feedback about your driving.
The app automatically detects when driving starts and stops, and uses the phone and the tag’s sensors to measure your vehicle’s driving dynamics. It uses low-power sensing methods to reduce battery consumption. The app shows you trip summaries, details on manoeuvres, and gives you useful feedback to become a better driver. It also acts as a low-power logger of all of your driving trips.
By linking seamlessly with the smartphone app, the tag accurately calculates vehicle manoeuvres. The tag requires a bluetooth connection.
1st Central Connect runs in the background and uses GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

I have had absolutely no problems with the app. Driving is rated Extremely fairly and it allows you to use your phone as a satnav with no black box penalty. Fantastic insurance and a great app.
Sometimes the app is inconsistent
I guess the app itself is good, but holy damn they are strict with what counts as hard breaking, acceleration, and turning. I feel as though you have to drive excessively/dangerously slow to score 100 on everything. Where I live, there are a lot of 60 roads that merge where you have to stop and give way, and if you get up to speed in a reasonable amount of time to not cause a collision or traffic jam, you'll be scored extremely low on acceleration, same for breaking and turning. Good luck, lol
APP don't recognise my email or phone number.takes way to long for them to answer phone,They took money from my account also, when I finally get in touch they will say 14 day to get my money back.
Very bad app. Records things on their system, but app doesn't record or show any faults. Warnings are sent, and then silently they cancel your policy. Then you have to pay cancellation fee and sensor fee and more fees. You call them and tell them what happened, they keep on repeating your options, which you don't have. So you end up with a car with no policy, and a lot of fees extra in order to cancel the policy, or have it cancelled, but that will mess up your records for life. Not reccomended
