Search, Save, Travel and Explore the most unique locations all around Australia with Drive Locations AU, your personal travel guide for every state, every mood, every adventure.

Explore hundreds and hundreds of locations spread all over Australia using up to 20 different categories, all with their own unique twist to suit any kind of adventure you feel like having. With locations to be added daily, you are sure to find something within driving distance that intrigues and inspires you to go and explore and escape the crazy world around you!

SEARCH

• Search via our interactive map that you can either filter by selecting a specific category, or just view all locations on the app and see what is closest to you!
• Search via the Home page and see what locations are trending, what locations have recently been added, and what locations are the most popular amongst users!

SAVE

• Save your favourite locations to your own personal profile so you can view them all together on your “Favourites” list!
• Save locations to your “Visited” list on your profile by clicking the “I have been here” button so you can keep track of everywhere you have been!
• Save locations to your “Wants” list on your profile by clicking the “I want to go here” button so you can keep track of all the locations you would still love to visit!

TRAVEL

• Travel to and from any location by using the interactive map to get directions and show you the fastest route. Copy and paste the address into your GPS and be on your way!
• When travelling, use the spinning wheel feature to help you make decisions on your adventures. We can help you answer who is driving, what kind of adventure you should go on, whether you should take friends, or you can even make your own spinning wheel with your own options!
• Travel around the beautiful country of Australia and be sure to take plenty of photos on your way and tag us in your photos on Instagram and Facebook for a feature!

EXPLORE

• Explore the location you set out to find and tell us how it was! Report any issues you had with the app or when looking for it, and tell everyone about your experience in the comments!
• Explore your own backyard! Venture out of your city and let us know what you find, and we might just add it to our app and give you credit!

Almost all locations on our app are easily accessible by driving to and from, and our interactive map will show you exactly how to get there from your current location by clicking “Get Directions”, and it will show you the fastest route. The address can then be copied and pasted into your phone GPS!

For locations that cannot be driven all the way to, our map should take you to the closest possible road.

Start off by trying out the free version of the app and browsing what kind of locations you can expect to be provided with at your fingertips. Once you are feeling adventurous enough, you can purchase a subscription for an insanely cheap price.

There are many useful features that you will unlock once on a valid subscription. You can view the full list of features that you unlock upon choosing your subscription type.

It's a great idea and presented well in an easy to use and professional app. Unfortunately it's not well suited to me and I deleted it shortly after downloading and subscribing because it had very few locations within an hour of where I live. If more locations were added in regional parts of Aus, I would be very interested in downloading and subscribing again.

Great idea but after I subscribed and played for a 1 year subscription it's still not giving me access to everything. I can't post pictures from the sights or get access to anything else. Can anyone help me with that?

Distances are measured in "as the bird flys" not actual drive distance ruins a great app unfortunately changes a 5⭐ to a 2⭐ Eg).destination on app 174km away - yay! day trip- navigation app 🤦🏼‍♀️ 379km away - nope😭 not a day trip (if u want to experience the destination at all) Great for birds or anyone with wings looking to explore as they fly but not if your like everyone else who would have to drive there unfortunately. (Drive) locations then use (drive) distance or travel distance

On all the descriptions it says that it is free and then you can pay to upgrade for more locations and features but it is a lie, I downloaded it and you don't get any locations without paying, there's nothing wrong with that but it would be nice if they actually said that instead of pretending you can use it for free but with less choice. Basically, it could be good but the description is a complete lie and you can only access the profile page and the subscription page without paying.
