Finally got with the times and upgraded to a smart thermostat. After a girl bit of research, I settled on an Ecobee Premium. The app is great, and very intuitive. I love that I can view energy usage reports and set very specific daily schedules. I also love that it detects when I'm home unexpectedly during an away period and automatically turns my system on. I couldn't be happier!

after changing temperature it shows a pop up to pick 2h , 4h, until I change it, etc. Can you get rid of this pop up and move default choise into settings somewhere? Original interface with a scroll was quicker to use and aesthetically appealing.

Getting worse. App takes forever to load, very annoying glitch. This is a recent issue. It didn't used to take this long.

I've had my Ecobee 4 system since June of 2017. I have 9 smart sensors. The concept is great, but they can't seem to keep their system online. You will wake up to a cold house over and over because your thermostat is offline due to their Web services being offline for one reason or another. I can't recommend Ecobee to anyone. You're not going to enjoy waking up to a cold house at 2-5 AM and going downstairs to follow the instructions for rebooting your thermostat because it lost connection.
