so far. so good. my only gripe is if they could have Google maps integration from this app and not the other way around.
easy to use, pretty convenient. Would love to have in-app google Map integration.
Today the whole network is broken, if they could guarantee you can book an eletric bixi within the next 15 mins I would PAY FOR MORE! 26$ is much for a broken promise, too little for a good bike. 350Hrs. Bixi employees knows specific stations are getting raided, especially old port ones. THEY KNOW WHICH BIXI LOCKS ARE BROKEN IN REAL TIME. We've reported it before it got stolen/lost. Yet they ask us to pay extra 50 bucks plus 50 extra.
Garbage app and service. I have used Bixi many years now. Every year it gets a little worse. This year is leaps ahead in bad service. -The app is not accurate about bikes and docks available. -So many bikes and docks are broken now. I use it daily, there is never a day without some problems. So many broken docks. Bikes broken. The app is reporting open docks /bikee and you arrive to find them broken. Still true 2024.
Pretty frustrating that you're paying for a service that you can only use while on Wi-Fi. They fully know of the issue with 5G / data usage when on VPNs or international roaming connected to local Canadian networks nonetheless, but haven't come up with a fix and many weeks now. They're fully aware that VPN or roaming or not, one should be able to use the app while on fully working stable data, but it's a big they created themselves with one of the updates and seem unwilling to fix until now.
