Makes visualizing and hearing what is going on in the chest and lungs so much easier, especially in loud environments.
This is an updated review. My original review was one star because the couple of days after I installed the app it was very buggy to the point of being unusable. I reached out to customer service and that has since resolved. I don't know if it's because they did something or if there were just software Gremlins in the app that day. Anyhow, now that it works, I'm very happy with the app and the product.
I loved this when I didn't have to pay to record my findings. The stethoscope its self is great. but paying that much for the handful of patients I would like record. it is just to much for me right
Play back through stethoscope now includes very loud pops. Painfully loud. They happen for the first few beats, then may recur later during playback. In general, playback through the device is now a garbled mess. It used to work well. Then there's the fondness for trying to get app feedback by using a modal, undismissable dialog. This type of feedback fishing in a medical app shows a lack of awareness. This action interups workflow for no benefit of user or patient.
I was able to record an arrhythmia on a pediatric patient. When I went to save the rhythm, I was asked to pay for the app. After entering my card, the app went back and deleted the rhythm I was trying to save. For the next 20 minutes, it would record but it wouldn't allow a stop and then it would freeze. If this is the quality this product has for the cost of the stethoscope and the program you have to purchase, I'm happy to send it back and get something better. Any ideas on what the issue is?
