Subject: Power button single-tap wrongly triggers data capture (Bug Report) Message: I am experiencing an issue with the experimental anti-theft features. When my phone is on the lockscreen, even a single short press of the power button triggers the data capture (photo + detection). This behaviour is incorrect. Data capture should trigger only when the power button is long-pressed for 4–5 seconds, and the actual Power Menu appears. Current behaviour: • Single tap = photo captured (incorrect)

Hello CrookCatcher team, I’m interested in using your app, but I have one genuine concern. If an intruder removes the SIM card first, there will be no internet connection. After that, if the phone is unlocked, we won’t receive any alerts, messages, or emails. In that situation, what practical benefit does installing CrookCatcher provide? I’d appreciate a clear explanation

I don't like the fact of having to unlock the do not kill my device and it having so much access to my phone I don't even give my wife that much access to my phone why would I give somebody else

The app doesn't work. And I can't be mad at that. They did say it won't work on some phones. What I am frustrated about is that I can't uninstall it. I can't even deactivate it, which is a big deal for someone who takes their privacy seriously. Right now, it's a huge risk for potential hackers. I don't know how that would even happen. Even if it wouldn't, it's still very unsettling. I like the idea of the app, I really do. But under these circumstances, I'm disappointed beyond imagination.
