"Beautifully realised ... this gripping tale has us well and truly hooked" -- Pocket Gamer (Gold Award)
"Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my time writing a review when I should really just be pointing at a game and demanding that people play it. This is one of those times. Steve Jackson's Sorcery! is an absolutely marvellous fantasy storybook adventure. Lushly illustrated and expertly told, it should not be missed by anyone even remotely interested in the genre." -- Gamezebo
"Let’s not mince words here... Sorcery’s unique blend of tabletop-like roleplaying (including an incredible combat system quite unlike anything I’ve seen before), and elaborate branching pathways with custom scripts preserving the feeling of Steve Jackson’s work make me now want to… no, HAVE TO acquire it" - Just Press Start

Sorcery! users say on Google Play
A good introduction to see if you like the sorcery games. The game is a little short, but extremely replayable with so many different choices and outcomes. The other games are longer and you can bring your leveled character from this game to the 2nd. I highly recommend see if you like it. If you do get the following games aswell for an epic experience!
Definitely enjoyable, but I wish it was a little clearer that this is only Book 1. The description says "Four chapters" and got me thinking it was all four parts, when it's just the beginning and the description is for the entire series as a whole. Even changing the title to "Sorcery: Book 1" or similar would help avoid some of the confusion there, otherwise it comes across as a way to trick people into spending more.
Really enjoy the game, but just realized after my third time playing that some events are unavoidable, meaning that the story is not fully flexible. In a game like this, that really bothers me. I feel as though any situation should have multiple outcomes, but it seems with some situations, no matter how you go about it, you get the same outcome. Should not be kidnapped by the Svinn in Torrepani in every single outcome.
Unable to play, takes me directly to app store.
Too Expensive For Being So Short. I wouldn't have paid $5.99 for it if I'd known I was effectively only getting the "first chapter" of this story/game. This experience is exactly why I am always hesitant to pay for these games & here I am feeling burnt again.
