Its pretty good, I like the story and the game is fun. Update : The game really takes off and develops into a fun environment that keeps you playing. The character development is good and plenty of gear too. Really was a great story and although it felt linear in some areas it still had a lot going on so it was a great time. I had a lot of fun and so far Id say this is the best text rpg I have played.

This is an excellent blend of roleplaying and Choose your own adventure. I've played through the storyline twice and will probably go back for a third and fourth. Why 4 and not 5: it's short, the whole story can be played in a couple hours. There's a fair amount of the mechanics that you have to figure out or assume. It feels like it was designed as a sample of what the company can do (which worked cause I'll probably look up their other stuff).

Tabatha Ruehle (Tabby)

It's fun, but I'm not sure I like the way the combat works. I should be able to use my healing items during combat, especially if "end turn" means I'll end up dying anyway. Gold is way to hard to come by, not to mention the scripted debt collector events. The starting stats are terrible and I was under the impression of being able to choose a class, but that's not true. I get that it's a strategy game, and I've tried different combat styles, but most enemies are near impossible to defeat.

i like what it is but I have a couple problems. first off the cartel. they are HIGHLY an annoyance, especially when it comes to getting gold so you can get better equipment they just come out of nowhere and if even you brought up your skills it still doesn't work. Next is the environment. in addition to the cartel everyone you have to fight is dark souls level difficulty which I wouldn't mind if you can actually heal while fighting. I have more to list but I don't have enough space to type.

So frustrating and infuriating that it's not even fun to play. ALL of your gold gets stolen from you the moment you have enough to buy anything, opponents get more "turns" in battle and often fight 3-6 vs. player. Even after leveling up and clearing through several quests, I was still getting wiped out by enemies repeatedly. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the difficulty, which is a shame.
