9th Dawn III: Shadow of Erthil is a massive 2D open world RPG and collectathon dungeon crawler packed full of adventure! When asked to investigate mysterious, ghostly sightings around the lake of Elmson, you trek through the lands of Cedaltia to uncover the truth. Upon arrival, you hear rumors of an untrustworthy king. Taking the path of the Chosen One, you journey to Lorwyck Castle to confront a powerful enemy – traversing ancient fortresses, dark dungeons, perilous swamps, and more!

Soon, you find yourself at the heart of a foreboding prophecy. Equip your best gear and adventure across the fields of Ashwick, the snowy regions of Halstom, dense forests of Vlak, the sprawling depths of huge dungeons, and the perilous Hollow Mountains of Scorn on an epic quest to uncover the secrets of a mysterious evil force ...

I wasn't expecting anything great but my play pass subscription was going to waste so I tried this. I'm blown away. This is epic. There is so much to do. The game is full manual control for the character your using. You fell more powerful with every level up of whatever you level. there's a lot. the story is solid and so many side quests and poi. many dungeons to find on a huge map full of many types and huge hordes of enemies. beat main game in about 50 hours. still so much to do. GREAT GAME

For a mobile game, it's truly great, but it is a bit grindy. I got 60+ hours of gameplay, but before the final mission (or what I view as final mission), I just gave up. It's just too repetetive :( Other than that, it's solid, not breathtaking, but it's good.

Great Game. However, every time I play I have to re-clear monsters. I go up one floor in a dungeon then come back and start all over clearing enemies. 5 steps back with 1 step forward. not fun! Am I missing something?

It had potential but the first dungeon area, that coincidentally blocks you from progression in crafting, is just a spamaton of waves of boring enemies you can't even run past without dying. And what's worse they respawn the moment you leave the floor or even load a game. You can return to a game and get instantly gibbed. Not to mention you're forced into playing the card minigame before even leaving the first town. After playing 9th dawn remake I expected different.
