I avoided this one for ages because of the reviews complaining about cost, eventually because of the hundreds of hours of fun I'd had for free with their other games, I'd gamble a few bucks on this one. I'v now played it through without making any in app purchases and think the complaints are unwarranted.. there's heaps of game to play and it's just as good as their others. I do wish I could skip the animations though.. no regrets, if you like their other games you'll like this one 👌

As much as I loved KR Frontiers, Origins and lately Alliance, and never doubted to give them 5 stars, to me this episode is the odd one out. Sometimes less is more. So many useless towers and heroes, maps resembling labyrinths you cannot oversee. Meaningless towers in several iron challenges and weird out-of-context lore. Despite many innovative ideas and regularly renewed content, I still cannot give more than 3 stars to this episode, as it was a lot of times painful instead of fun.

Y not have a few $ towers unlock by playing/challenge complete? alrdy paid for game; let us get some of the (many) $ towers naturally! Be smthn extra to play + allow for more fun.. Was a bit skeptical about Vengeance, because of the reviews. The campaign was very fun, & had a good amount of bonus levels at the end. The new tower system is cool. Low rating because no Endless Levels in the game currently. Akin to Origins, 2 map variants at least is ideal. Once added, will gladly update rating.

I think I know what's going on with this ONCE great game development team- The fresh out of college newbies are in, and they've just given them full reign of key development decisions and game premise/theme. I started thinking this when the second iron marines game was vastly different than the first & quality went DOWN. Now the freshmen ARE Ironhide for the foreseeable future and I'm sure we can look forward to continued slop and +3 stages dlc that costs 2x the price of launch. And ya, /whine
