ZOE Health: AI Food Scanner users say on Google Play
your latest update has broken the app: adding food gets overwritten by the black box for entering quantities; some obviously solid foods have only liquid measurements; and having got through all that the updating indicator spins constantly and One has to out of it. In addition when searching through my foods and menus please offer a chronological list as well as just the alphabetically listed foods update: issue sorted quickly - top marks!
This app is great and the improvements have made it even better in the last month. I love the insights for my meals and the education around how to make my meals better. The only thing I feel it is missing now is a way to repeat a meal. I do a lot of batch cooking and my meals are often the same/similar throughout the week. It is much easier to snap a picture, but I often forget. That is user error!
I love the Zoe program. The program has worked well for me, but not several of my friends. You need the app to follow the program. Of all the apps that I use in my life, the Zoe app has been the slowest and has most bugs, although it has improved. My experience of the technical support has been slow, time-consuming to follow, and amateur. For the paid subscription, Zoe should set a higher bar for themselves.
Been a Zoe member for a year. The science is great and results are amazing. Lost weight, have more energy and I'm more aware of what I'm eating. However the app (new version) is terrible. When editing ingredients, the keyboard covers the fields you're meant to update making it super annoying to use. The AI is just ok, but what's really poor is the removal of serving size and ability to save recipes. Gamification is poorly executed and just gets in the way. Hope it improves as I'm a huge Zoe fan
This new version of the app and programme are very different to the original. The app is quite gameified, awarding 'beans' for logging food via a photograph and with an cartoon AI character. It feels quite basic and I find it patronising. There are no recipe ideas. If you are new to nutrition or just looking for a way to log healthy meals and get a bit of AI feedback on meal choices then this may be for you but if you have come to Zoe for the personalised science and you might be disappointed.
