Perfect, easy to use, does exactly what I need with no unnecessary frills. Really good for practicing note recognition on repeat, which is great for improving sight reading skills. You can tailor your experience - choose a stave, a note range, whether to include sharps and flats, how the piano keys are labelled, how fast the notes move across the screen and how long the timer runs for (or you can have no timer and the notes stay still if you want to use practice mode).
Overall great app and has done wonders for my sight reading. My only real complaint would be that it's not practically possible to adjust the note range because the sliders are useless. I've had to wipe all app data more than once just to get it back to defaults and now I just don't even try anymore.
I think this is a great app but it lacks a mode to identify intervals which is a key part of sight reading and wish it were added
The first 15 seconds of trying the app out, was ok, before it bombarded me with ads I couldn't close.
It doesn't do a good job teaching, it just jumps right in, no practice. If you don't know how to swim, and then your thrown in the deep end, while someone is yelling from land to move your arms and legs, there's a good chance you will fail. There are a few that can learn like this, but there is a higher success rate with a gradual build up. This app is for people that can be thrown in the deep end.
