I fail to understand the negative reviews as I found these tracking tiles absolutely fantastic and so inexpensive. The setup took seconds with the Bluetooth recognition working both ways. The Bluetooth range is not so good but it is as advertised. In the settings I changed the location to use Google maps and all is in English. I tested the find my car but after moving 10-15 meters away from my vehicle one of my two tiles went into alarm mode so will need to try that again. So far, so good.
It is cheap and worked as finder app for phone or tag but does not have the design for location tracking of the tag. Once the app is installed and has the tag added it will alert you when the phone is far away from the tag after about 15 to 20 seconds. You can make the phone sound by double pressing the button on the tag if the phone is in the vicinity. I could not make the tag sound with the find device button. Only way is to exit the app so at least I could find the tag this way.
App keep shutting down and icon disappears.
The device to be used with this app is not a GPS tracker. It only pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. If either device is out of bluetooth range they will both alarm. The app does not show where the tracker is, it only shows the location of the phone. The app map has a list of instances where the devices were out of range of each other (alarms) but if you click on them the app crashes. So it has some bugs to be worked out yet. (This is on a Samsung Galaxy S23 in conjunction with Google Maps)
Worth less than 1 star. The app is terribly translated, and I doubt its clone that you can see by searching for "iTracker" is any better. Nearly incomprehensible, so it is hard to know exactly what you need to do in order to set up, initiate an alert for, or disconnect a tag. The tags themselves will often go off on their own -- and continue sounding off until you turn them off entirely -- nullifying the product as a whole. Poorly made, cheap data collecting jumble of code.
