Pros
- The app's high rating and significant download numbers indicate a well-regarded and widely used tool, suggesting that it effectively meets the needs of its target audience.
- The absence of required permissions is a notable advantage, as it ensures that users' data and device security are not compromised, making it a trustworthy choice.
- The app's versatility in generating frequencies for various purposes, from speaker testing to meditation, makes it a valuable resource for a broad range of users.
- The developer's commitment to updates, as evidenced by the version history, suggests ongoing support and improvement, which is crucial for maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.
- The option for in-app purchases provides users with the ability to enhance their experience, potentially offering additional features or removing ads for a more streamlined use.
Cons
- The presence of ads may be intrusive for some users, potentially disrupting the app's primary functions, especially in scenarios requiring concentration like meditation or precise sound testing.
- The range of in-app purchases, from $1.00 to $100.00, may be seen as overly broad, potentially leading to confusion or unintended purchases, which could negatively impact the user experience.
- Despite its strengths, the app's functionality might be too basic for professional audio engineers or those requiring advanced sound manipulation capabilities, limiting its appeal to a specific segment of the market.
- There is a lack of transparency regarding what data, if any, is collected through the app, given the absence of permissions, which could still raise privacy concerns for cautious users.
Best for: The ideal user for the Frequency Sound Generator app is likely an individual with a basic to intermediate understanding of sound principles, possibly including audio enthusiasts, music students, or those interested in sound therapy and meditation, who are looking for a straightforward, easy-to-use tool that does not compromise on privacy or security.

Experiment with frequency generator , test speakers, meditate and much more.
Frequency Generator Sound player lets you generate a sine, square, sawtooth or triangle sound wave with a frequency between 1Hz and 22000Hz (hertz). It produces accurate tone & soundwaves while being simple and easy to use.
No matter if you need to sound test and generate high frequency sounds or low frequency sounds, our frequency tone generator is your #1 best solution.

📲ANIMATED SOUND WAVE
You’ll love the animated sound wave function which visually represents the sound for a given frequency. You can change waveform by clicking on a round button at the left side and get a different sound and animated wave.
🎚️ADJUST FREQUENCY & VOLUME
Adjust the sound generating frequency easily by dragging the yellow dot. Make use of the - & + buttons for added adjusting precision. Additionally, control the volume of the generated sounds from 0-100%.
📑SAVE YOUR OWN PRESETS

🔊NUMEROUS USES:
This sound generating app can be used in multiple use cases:
● Test your hearing. A human being is capable of hearing frequencies in the average range of 20Hz-20000Hz. This range is getting smaller by age, so it’s interesting to sound test your hearing capabilities.
● Test speakers and headphones for the high end (treble) and low end (bass) tones.
● Use this app as an instrument tuner when playing or producing.
● Cleaning water from the speaker. Since sound is making small vibrations it can help to shake off unwanted water from your speakers.
● Find your tinnitus frequency.
⚙️ SETTINGS:
There are few settings you can adjust to customize Frequency Generator app behavior.
● Change frequency slider range to allow you more precision while selecting frequencies.
● Choose between two slider scales: linear or logarithmic.
● Low latency setting enables high-performance low latency audio which makes slider more responsive and eliminates lag. (NOTE: Low latency setting may result in high frequencies on some devices sound inaccurate, especially on higher volume.)
● Enable or disable decimal precision up two decimals in case of need for more precise sound generation.
● Change +/- button step for even easier adjustments.
NOTE: Since mobile phones are not high-quality audio sources and in-built speakers may vary in quality, sometimes users can hear sounds at very low or high frequencies even beyond the scope of human hearing. That noise is not sound of a given frequency but static or “parasite” noise generated by your mobile device. For the best experience use a pair of good quality headphones.
Privacy
Given that the Frequency Sound Generator app requires no permissions, the risk of data collection or security breaches appears minimal. However, users should still be cautious when making in-app purchases and ensure they understand what they are buying. It's also advisable to review the developer's privacy policy, if available, to understand any potential data collection practices.
Tips
For optimal use, users should start by familiarizing themselves with the different frequency ranges and their applications, whether for sound testing or meditation. To minimize distractions, consider making an in-app purchase to remove ads, especially if using the app in professional or focused environments. Additionally, exploring the app's settings can help in customizing the experience to better suit individual needs.

i enjoy the app I use it for microphone disruption causing the listening on the other end to have a nice ringing to what they are listening to with out my permission lol
ad free once purchased. it stops between changes in a non-uniform way. this can be kind of jarring when trying to smoothly transition from one experience to another. The intent is on point. a few user experience issues worked out and this app is smooth as sine
very good 👍
Why does an app this basic have so many ads????
This app worked beautifully ans simply. But it has INTRUSIVE FULL SCREEN ADS. I refuse to pay for an app with INTRUSIVE FULL PAGE ADS just so it won't be annoying. I will never support this method of encouraging income. This is an ad I would gladly pay for, as good as it is, in fact. Very sad.
