Changed review, it is finally working right for the first time in about 4 years. Ive had connectivity issues the last few years where it connects about 5 times before needing to manually reconnect. But since the last upgrade, no issues at all. And the timed warning added a few years back was the best update, used to have to click ok for it to show the screen every time. Glad its finnally fixed. Will try not to upgrade again for fear of things going wrong again

Compatibility issues: (1) No illumination work with any of the themes in my phone i.e. Moto edge 50 fusion. (2) Not automatically opening the 'smart sync app' while connected through the BT option, I've to manually open the same.

It okay. Some decent options hidden in a sub-par interface combined with terrible descriptions. To often, the app has trouble connecting to stereo.

Poor UI. Designed on the basis you will be using this as your go-to interface when in the car. Can't really see anyone would do that. Loading Saved Audio settings, potentially useful if it wasn't so hidden in submenus, actually switches the unit off!

A hopeless timewasting app. the phone connects fine to the unit using native bluetooth, the app sees the Bluetooth connection, but fails connection every time. walking thru the trouble shooting is an exercise in futility, failing every time after both devices have approved the pairing. such a time waster. this app is not usable by mere mortals. based on this don't purchase a Pioneer car radio, as without the app the radio is unusable. PS there are many pages of terms and conditions!
