The Amazon of Europe Bike Trail invites you on an unforgettable adventure along the Mura, Drava and Danube rivers. You can cycle more than 1,250 km through the world’s first 5-country UNESCO biosphere reserve where you can discover natural river landscapes of pristine beauty, floodplain forests and beautiful cultural landscapes and villages in five countries: Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Serbia. The main route of the Amazon of Europe Bike Trail is split into two separate routes: Northern (550 km) and Southern (700 km), with several additional routes which are run to the main tourism attractions and river experiences. There are 27 stages available, 11 on the North and 16 on the South route, offering unique sights, various activities and genuine hospitality which you will carry in your heart and memories forever. The Amazon of Europe Bike Trail App provides detailed information for each stage: the course of the stages, attractions and establishments.

The tours/stages, including all tour details and relevant map sections, can be stored on a smartphone and can be accessed offline, if required (for example, if you are in another country, in areas with weak network coverage, or when data roaming would be too expensive).

The tours descriptions contain all the facts, must-see points, images and elevation profiles you might need. As soon as a tour is started, you can determine your own position (including determining which direction you are facing) easily in the topographic map and, in this way, follow the course of the tour.
