Verifying the authenticity of your PCGS coins & banknotes is easier than ever!
The Cert Verification App makes that confirmation process much easier and much faster. Rather than typing in the coin’s certification number, simply scan the bar code (obverse) or QR code (reverse) found on the coin label.
With this app, users get access to valuable information, such as the coin’s denomination, date and mintmark, grade, mintage, holder type, PCGS Population and PCGS Price Guide value.
Supplemental coin information may also be available, such as a high resolution image of the coin, the coin’s last auction appearance and its current presence in any PCGS Set Registry sets.

It’s important to note that verification of certification numbers on the PCGS Certification Database will not entirely eliminate the risk of buying counterfeit coins, as there is always a slight chance counterfeiters may use counterfeit PCGS grading inserts.
To further reduce the risk of counterfeit coins, PCGS encourages coin purchases from verified PCGS Authorized Dealers.

checked my numbers on all my pcgs coins and it really does show your coin and it's information etc. I would recommend this website and app to check your coins authentication.

NFC doesn't work on Motorola Phone with NFC compatibility.

PCGS is a snobby and elitist organization. This app is an example. Organization alienates younger collectors. I Installed on Android 13, NFC doesn't work. I know how to set up. I register my coins at NGC for free. Here, you have to be a member just to register purchased coins. Hype?
