I have been using the application and supporting Wings for Life since 2015. But now the latest update says that it does not support my device and I cannot install it :(. Smartphone model: Samsung S7, Android version 8.0.0. Tell me please, will the previous version of the Wings for Life application work this year? Or maybe the new version of the application will support older Android versions? Thanks

After updating to the new version it works. However, the recorded distance differs by over a hundred meters to the one in Samsung health and to the person's Wings for Life world run app I ran with neck to neck.

Terrible experience today. Everything worked perfectly up until the start. After the "go" I heard nothing. In the end I found out that despite all permissions being granted, battery saver off, app locked etc my run wasn't tracked at all (Strava worked!). I'm deeply disappointed and sorely missed the experience of knowing where the car was and how far I had come. I could have had this every day without the need to participate. At least I have the comfort of knowing the money goes to a good cause.
