StubHub - Live Event Tickets v103.7.52
StubHubAbout this app
The StubHub app effectively solves the problem of finding and purchasing event tickets on-the-go, benefiting individuals who frequently attend concerts, sports games, and other live events. Compared to alternatives in the Events category, StubHub stands out with its vast inventory of tickets and user-friendly interface. However, its lack of in-app features beyond ticket purchasing might make it less appealing to users seeking a more comprehensive event experience. Overall, StubHub's reputation and large user base contribute to its reliability and trustworthiness.
Pros
- The app's high download numbers and good user rating of 4.0/5 indicate a well-designed and functional experience, making it a trustworthy choice for event ticket purchases.
- StubHub's developer reputation and large user base contribute to its reliability and trustworthiness, ensuring that users can confidently purchase tickets through the app.
- The absence of in-app purchases and ads enhances the user experience, allowing individuals to focus on finding and buying tickets without distractions or additional costs.
- The app's requirement of only Android 8.0 or higher ensures that it can provide a smooth and secure experience for users, leveraging the latest operating system features.
- StubHub's straightforward and intuitive interface makes it easy for users to navigate and find tickets for their desired events, even for those who are less tech-savvy.
Cons
- Despite its positive aspects, the app's limited functionality beyond ticket purchasing might disappoint users seeking a more comprehensive event experience, such as event schedules, venue information, or social sharing features.
- Some users might find the app's lack of offline capability to be a drawback, as it requires a stable internet connection to function, which could be problematic in areas with poor network coverage.
- The app's dependency on the developer's website for support and information might lead to a less integrated experience, potentially causing frustration if users need to switch between the app and website.
- Users with older devices might be deterred by the app's requirement of Android 8.0 or higher, limiting its accessibility to a broader range of devices.
Best for: The ideal user for the StubHub app is an individual aged 18-50 who frequently attends live events, such as concerts, sports games, or festivals, and is comfortable using their mobile device to purchase tickets, with a moderate level of technical skill and a need for a reliable and user-friendly ticket purchasing experience.

Great experience so far
Viewing transferred tickets are not as easy. had to get with stadium kiosk
for Most updated Android, the app does not show events for a certain date. It will only show three events for a city and then take you to other dates.
DO NOT BUY A PARKING PASS. Most are scams and a good portion are overpriced and not redeemable. I purchased a pass from parkwhiz for tivoli square garage in DC and was given a QR code to for prepaid parking. the scanner only accepts bar codes and I had to pay again to get out. then I discovered my $35 parking pass was for $12 in actual parking costs.
even beyond the terrible ethics of buying and reselling, the app itself is absolutely terrible. it's almost impossible to find events you want to go to, the search is awful, the calendar dates reset themselves, the "see more" button is worse than doing nothing. I can't fathom a worse way to discover fun events that I might want to go to, which seems counterproductive for a service that wants to sell me tickets to events. if I didn't have to use it, I would start clear at all costs.
