The WeatherFlow Wind Meter is an anemometer that fits in your pocket.

The Wind & Weather Meter app works with the WeatherFlow WINDmeter and the WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter -- available for purchase at retailers online and offline. When paired with a WeatherFlow meter, this free app allows you to take & share weather reports from your exact location. Capture highly accurate weather data, including wind speed (average, gust and lull), wind direction, air temperature, humidity and pressure. The app also give you values such as wind chill, heat index, apparent wind, crosswind, tailwind, dew point, air density and more. Add a description and instantly share your report via Twitter, Facebook, SMS, email and more. Weather reports captured from this app can be posted instantly to popular online weather services including iKitesurf, iWindsurf, SailFlow, WindAlert, and FishWeather.

Any updates? It would be great to have open settings for report. it means that some flexibility will be in which data to store. For example I would like to keep lulls info in the history. Also it would great to have extra data as duration of gusts and lulls, periods, and some graphs for wind speed of a sampled period. Also, some phones have humidity, pressure and temperature sensors why not to include data from them?

Have contacted support to be told that my device (sony xperia z2) was never supported in first place. I did a little research before buying and was never mentioned. Support are great, however twice now trying to get me to "upgrade" and update my review (fair enough it is a business). Genuine, excellent support. Not really liking the hard sell, simply to get me to update my review. Trying to be as fair as possible and going with 3 stars (simply for the help yous guys gave). Definitely could be 5 though!

Not Accurate. I've tried it many times since getting it. Didn't give accurate temperature. It's reading at least 5 or so degrees above what it is actually. Need to calibrate it all the time. I will continue to try but looks like $75 down the drain. Not happy at all :(

Worthless piece of garbage! Installed it twice, trying to give it 2nd chance. Same result both times. Default setting is 'meters per second', tried changing to 'mph'. Wouldn't let me! Froze up and had zero response to every 'tap choice' on the page with all the options on it. Basically an electronic boat anchor!
