This is a pretty good app in the sense that it tests almost every word in the grades HSK 1 to 6. For every puzzle, and for each word in the puzzle, you get a list of choice words to choose as an answer. All answers and all grades are given stars based on whether they are solved fast or not. All in, I am clearer as to my present level of Chinese and how to go about improving myself. This is worth the small price they are asking for. :-)

This is a pretty decent and fun game for reviewing hanzi, however in reality it tends to play more like a basic flashcard review rather than a puzzle. My main critiques: you burn through the free levels very quickly and the game doesn't save the settings that you pick. It would also be useful if you could reset levels or have an organized dictionary of the terms you've already solved.
