Absolutely fantastic app! It provides with detailed corrections in French and English. It tests you on all levels of learning the basics of a language from writing to listening. The contextual information combined with visual images makes it easier for one to "comprendre" better. Along with language skills, it reflects French culture too. Couldn't recommend it more. It's a very good app but very different from all the other learning apps. There's only one lesson aday. It wants you to do the exercises first and then explanation comes with the correction. Playing the video is not very comfortable when I wanted to replay it the screen kept jumping to the question. They have cultural tips if you're interested. Sometimes when you click on English explanation, browser doesn't open immediately. In general it's very good app. Their Online help service is amazing.

I really like the method, so fun and complete. But why, oh why so expensive??? Where I live I could afford the best french course paying the same investment I would if I decided to pay to use the app :( pricing is really disappointing.

It's a good app and I was planning on getting a subscription, until I saw the pricing. I already found 30 a month very expensive, but good language apps are very scarce, so I found it worth considering. Then I found out the 30 a month only applies when you commit to 36 months. The other options are ridiculously expensive: 60 a month for 6 months, 100 (!!!) a month for a monthly membership. Laughable, considering that the app provides only 1 assignment a day, which takes like 5 mins to do.

While the app is very nicely made, probably the best of apps I've used, I just can't express how ridiculously expensive it is. Since you cannot do more than a lesson per day, even if you manage to not miss a day you pay for, for the monthly subscription the cost per time learning is about on par with having 1 on 1 lessons with a certified French tutor (given you count in the time spent on homework) and clearly those are superior, as you work on your pronunciation too. It's just unbelievable...
