BKK's offical integrated journey planning and ticketing application

The FUTÁR application by BKK Centre for Budapest Transport has been renewed under the name BudapestGO, which, in addition to real-time route planning, has been extended with new functions: you can buy digital single tickets, daily and weekly travelcards or passes in the application and you can also be informed immediately about the current transport service changes. You can use the route planner with a cleaner and clearer interface, facilitated by a number of new features.

New features in the app:
- Ticket and pass purchase, journey planning in a single app
- Digital single ticket now also available
- Automatic pass renewal
- Traffic information (BKK Info application integrated)
- Personalised transport updates via push message
- Trip planning for trains and suburban railways available with a BKK-pass
- Simplified interface
- You can buy local or intercity tickets and passes for most municipalities in Hungary.

extremely useful, can be a bit buggy and just for route planning, Google Maps works too, but the integration is better, and not to mention that you see the live place/arrival time of the buses. huge lifesaver for anyone commuting. rare w from BKK/BKV. one tiny idea, you could make the Metro Lines clickable to show what it is, or it's starting points/stations, maybe even highlighting the stations it stops at.

no option for United Kingdom so can't buy a ticket. the stops near me seemed to only have one machine each, and in every case the machines were broken so it was a bit of a challenge to simply get around! update: UK is great Britain so I could indeed buy a ticket! it would be easier if I could just use Google pay and not have to supply billing details in the first place!

No GPay or Paypal, does not work with dynamic CVV/CVC, it seems their processing center stores card information(how secure is it? I don't feel safe enough) and sends it on every transaction. So when CVV changes - there is just "your bank information is incorrect" and you have to delete the card and add it again from scratch.

Absolute garbage of an app. Does not accept Google Pay, does not accept auto-fill, need to enter everything manually line by line, then in the middle, surprise surprise, switches to another app for payment processing, requires another registration, another e-mail confirmation etc etc. Countless forms, and constant fails just to buy 1eur tram ticket. But you still need this app to go around Bud. Edit: appreciate the response but sign-on is needlessly overcomplicated for a new user aka tourist.
