With the Ziggo SmartWifi app you can easily:
• Optimize your WiFi with one click.
• Scan your Wifi- and internet connection.
• See which devices are connected to your WiFi.
• Can you add and manage the Ziggo SmartWifi pods.
• Create a specially shielded guest network.
• Install internet and television with smart installation guides.
• Easily change the network name of your WiFi yourself.
• Personalize your network by creating profiles for your household.
• You can easily pause and resume the connection of devices.

You log in with your My Ziggo account, using two-step verification. If you have any questions about improving your WiFi, click on the My Ziggo app in the SmartWifi app. You can quickly contact a WiFi expert 24/7 with the Messenger function.

This app feels most at home on your smartphone.
Note: Do you have your modem in bridge mode? Then you cannot use most parts of this app.

-The app works better with screen readers
-Videos and animations now have play and pause buttons
-You can make text and display up to twice as large
-Important messages appear right at the top of your screen and have clear buttons, like ‘Read more’
-When Wi-Fi is off, the guest Wi-Fi option is not shown
-On the device overview screen, there’s a refresh icon that works with screen readers
-General improvements and bug fixes

The SmartWifi app has improved from the previous versions. It is still limited with extra features, such as optimisimg the wifi interference, and assigning particular device to a specfic a smart Wifi. It would be great if Ziggo can implement these advanced features. Recently I ditched the Tapo M4Rs and have really noticed the speed difference at home; WIFI-5 vs WIFI-6. Please keep up the good work Ziggo! Hope to see more improvements in the next release.

This app painfully shows the very low upload speeds that Ziggo members get and are complaining about to this day. Ziggo offers only a 100 Mbit maximum upload speed for their fastest Elite subscription (that I have). I do indeed reach 100 Mbit but that is just too slow! We need at least a 400 Mbit upload speed because working from home and on the road and uploading files and collaborating on-line with colleagues is a pain! Will Ziggo offer much higher upload speeds soon? It's 2025!
