FUTO Voice Input is an application that adds voice input capabilities to your phone. It integrates with apps and keyboards that support the standard Android voice input APIs (ACTION_RECOGNIZE_SPEECH and Voice IME). All processing is done completely offline on your device, and your recordings are NEVER saved or sent anywhere. The app accesses the Internet only when you choose to download optional models. FUTO Voice Input respects your privacy.

I love the voice input. The part that frustrates me and I haven't been able to figure out is why the hell it'll occasionally end my messages with things like thanks for watching or bye for now. When I clearly don't say anything like that. I even turned off the listen for silence function to try and figure out Why but it still persists Thanks for watching. HA!! SEE ABOVE! It just did it while leaving my review! 🤣😂

Even though it's impressive I have to pick it twice for it to run correctly. So for every new series of sentences I have to do some fiddling. It needs work.

It's ok as an accessibility tool but needs improvements, struggles with Irish accent, many times have to edit wrong transcribed words (and even sneezes lol) and talk slowly and articulate carefully. Would love an option for it to be used as a voice assistant that respects privacy to be able to navigate TalkBack with voice without fearing Google is listening in to everything... Having to give up privacy because of disability isn't fun.

Really like the keyboard, but nine times out of ten. It types the wrong thing I say into it. And for this reason I'm going to have to stop using it. I'm correcting my sentences more than I'm actually messaging. Maybe if it's improved, I'll try again at some point.
