Oh, Japanese! They have invented so many logic picture puzzles! The one of them is Japanese Mosaic.
Japanese Mosaic is a clue-linking puzzle based on a grid with a pixel-art picture hidden inside. Using logic the solver determines which squares are painted and which should remain empty until the hidden picture is completely exposed. Japanese Mosaic Puzzle also known as “Japanese Painting”, “Fill-a-Pix”, "Mosaic”, "Mosaik”, "Nurie Puzzle", "Nampre Puzzle".
Puzzle look like a grid with numbers scattered in various places. Each number (clue) shows how many squares around clue, (including square with clue) should be fill in. Therefore, used clues are in the range from 0 to 9 inclusive.

I love this game. Logic problems were always my best and this app is excellent! I would like to ask for two things though. First one is a dark mode. And second one is an option to fill in starting clues (aka 0 and 9) automatically. It often is boring to fill them in when they are so obvious

It would be better if there were hints or some way to know which boxes have not yet been filled out.

There are two reasons for my uninstalling this app. The first is the controls... I much prefer one tap colour, two tap x.

This would be much better if you could double-tap to change from filling boxes to crossing them out. Having to keep going back to select cross or fill takes away from the fun of playing.
