Pros
- The app's high user rating of 4.4/5 and over 1 million downloads demonstrate its effectiveness and popularity, indicating a well-designed and user-friendly interface that meets the needs of its target audience.
- The absence of ads and minimalistic in-app purchases, ranging from $0.99 to $72.00 per item, suggests a non-intrusive and respectful monetization model that prioritizes user experience.
- The app's zero permission requests are a significant advantage, as it ensures that users' data and device security are not compromised, making it an attractive option for privacy-conscious individuals.
- The developer's active website and email support, as indicated by the provided website and email address, suggest a commitment to user support and feedback, which is essential for an app's long-term success.
- The app's offline capability, implied by the lack of internet permission, allows users to access and manage their routines and habits even without an internet connection, making it a reliable tool for daily planning.
Cons
- The app's limited feature set, as implied by its simple and structured approach, may not cater to users who require more advanced planning and organization tools, potentially limiting its appeal to a broader audience.
- The in-app purchases, although minimalistic, may still be a deterrent for some users who prefer a one-time payment or a completely free app, which could impact the app's overall adoption rate.
- The lack of transparency regarding the data collection and usage policies, despite the zero permission requests, may raise concerns among privacy-conscious users who value data protection and security.
- The app's compatibility with various devices, as indicated by the 'Varies with device' Android requirement, may lead to inconsistent performance or compatibility issues on certain devices, which could negatively impact user experience.

This app may end up being life changing. I know what routines will make my life better, but I am easily distracted. Keeps on top of thing, with flexibility still. It makes my routine take sooo much less time. I have now been using routinery for 5 years, according to the review. on occasion it's a tiny bit buggy when they add new stuff, but it truly has been life changing. I managed to get a 200 day streak once and when I use it my life is better.
I downloaded this app to replace Tiimo. The app works great and definitely contributes to me getting to work on time each day. The biggest downside is that the "activity finished" reminders aren't as helpful as they could be. The reminders occur at 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes after you're supposed to have finished a task. If my task is only 2 minutes long, a reminder 10 minutes later is honestly pretty useless. I really wish it could remind me every 1 minute until I finish the activity.
I think Routinery app has lost what it made it life changing. Now it has too many ads, many features are strictly paywalled, the Get Premium icons and messages are annoying, and you added social features which are distracting/not useful for many users, who are already trying to escape Instagram/TikTok. These also make the app more unstable and RAM heavy, while the UI glitches, alarm bugs and crashes are still a problem after years of user reports. EDIT: Come on, guys, you can do it! 💪
This would be so good if it were good. Unfortunately it's the experience of an alpha version, whether any particular thing works today is toss of a coin. Sometimes I'll get alarms that freeze my entire phone. Sometimes no alarm at all. As far as I can tell nowhere to undo or delete a task completion, if I test some changes I made to a routine, whoop, I've "done" it for the day and there's no going back.
I've used the app for several years and used to love it but bugs in the recent updates have become so bad I've given up and deleted the app despite having 3 months of premium left. The final straw was an alarm going off at 6am on holiday after I had disabled alarms and notifications for that routine. This is a problem I shared with the developers 7 months ago but has not been fixed. Other recent issues include app switching to half-speed, then Spanish and alarm not going off when set.
