BandHelper should first be setup and configured on your desktop computer; not on your phone. The app takes time to learn and implement, but once setup, and song information entered, it is an invaluable tool for any working musician or band. It makes gig planning, and set list construction so easy. Plus you can quickly distribute songs, setlists, and gig information to all band mates immediately. It is well worth the subscription price if you are a serious musician.
The previous version crashed when opening sheet music. It's been resolved and it's a great way for the band to share music setlists.
The idea of the app is great & it has lots of useful features. The dev is very dedicated to it; however, there are many frustrating things about it! Most changes lately seem to be for the worse & are real head-scratchers as to why he would change certain things to make them LESS user-friendly. I would still recommend it, but with the caveat that sometimes it's so frustrating that it doesn't seem worth it & you want to throw your tablet out the window! I'm not elderly or stupid, so it's not that!
Continues to crash on android.. app looks promising but after convincing my band to purchase tablets, cases and mic stand clamps to start doing performing "like the pros"... the app crashes on galaxy tap A and Android smartphones. App seems to perform well on only iOS. there's nothing about this in the help topics or online. already tried deleting and reinstalling the app , crashes as soon as I get past the LOGIN. Stop telling people to submit tickets and get this app to work on on Android.
app keeps crashing! Edit 3/15: the app is STILL crashing.
