The CHARGE+ app is a professional grade software that enables electric vehicles to charge when connected to CHARGE+ or CHARGE+ enabled charging stations.

Users simply need to open the CHARGE+ app and scan the QR code on the charging station to commence charging, or key in the ID number of the charging station.

Through the CHARGE+ app, users can also check on various charging statistics in real time, such as charging time, cost incurred and energy consumed. The CHARGE+ app will also alert users when charging is complete and enable quick and fuss free payment of charging fees through credit card.

CHARGE+ is defining a new era of electric charging solutions by enabling a network of charging stations. These stations were conceptualised and designed in Singapore and began from the evolving needs of customers looking to embrace electric vehicles as a transportation solution.

Simply like the upgraded Charge+ App version ! The process flow is more user friendly and the interface is more pleasant now. I also noted that Charge+ has removed the minimum $25 credit requirement to activate charging which was vexing in the past. But I do miss the availability bar above each pin on the map which had been taken away in this version.

Giving a 3 star rating as (1) charger is easy to use, (2) able to check if its still charging & (3) notification sent when charge is full. Minus 2 stars because of (a) lock in credit of $25 required to charge, making it a hassle when the charge cost drops below and the charge is terminated immediately, and (b) If / when i didn't respond to last notification promptly (?), i need to force stop the app using phone settings before i can initiate a new charge. =(

The charging works great and is reactive. But to have to top up above 25 dollars into a ewallet before I can start to charge is evil. This is obviously a shameless cashgrab. Please look at your systems and think about it. I don't mind charging my credit card and returning the balance. This forces people to "pay 25" dollars to open an account.

Use other providers as Charge+ requires you to topup NON-REFUNDABLE credits (As per T&Cs) in $25 increments. The charges per kWh are so low that in most situations, you are unlikely to exceed a few dollars (Most are slow AC chargers). The initial required minimum of $25 would immediately fall below the required minimum with a single charge and the next charge requires another $25 topup, bringing the total credits to around $40 or more. This is a quick money grab, as per other named reviewers.
