GRIS by Nomada Studio is my favourite game ever. Its simplicity and sophistication make it unique. The watercolour aesthetics, with colours filling in as you progress, are stunning. I love that there's no death—you just get back up and try again if you miss a jump. The tiny creatures that help you are adorable. I play it daily on my commute; it’s incredibly calming. The soundtrack by Berlinist is also beautiful. I’ve just purchased the 2nd game, Neva, and can’t wait to play it this weekend ❤️
This game is visually stunning and gorgeous, beautiful environment the music is also exceptional but there's a lot of scenes where she's almost too small to see it makes my eyes hurt. That alone makes me don't want to play this game more than once. I guess it's the limitation of playing on a phone. And some part feels so long and dragging I can't help thinking when will this part end. I want to give this game 5 stars but sorry I just can't
The animation and music are absolutely beautiful. I want to love this game and sometimes I do. But the controls (although improved) are still so finicky I have to do the same set of moves over and over again to be able to jump just right and progress. so it's a game best played in small doses on android, I think it would be brilliant on a PC
I only got a few minutes into this game before discovering that it wasn't for me. I was expecting a relaxing puzzle experience, but that was quite the opposite when it required me to perform precise jumps. I backtracked a few times and attempted this, but the controls do not allow for precision. I've seen people say that using controllers is best for this game, but that defeats the purpose. If you're going to release to mobile, you should optimize it for mobile. 2 stars for pretty artwork.
This seems gorgeous but extremely frustrating I can't get her to jump over this hill, no matter how many thousand of times I try. The controls are extremely frustrating or am I just too dumb to figure out. Idk but can't seem to move on and was quite exited to play this game
