DEVICE TRACKING
With a Member account, the app detects your device's movement and records GPS readings to collect highly accurate "position data" as you travel. This data can be recorded without a WiFi or mobile data connection and automatically syncs to your account on our server when your device connects to the internet. Your traveled path is displayed as a route line on a map, and privacy options let you decide who can view your map. Your map will also appear in the app for your own use.

Share your Tracker map link with selected friends and family so they can view your tracking on any device using the Tracker app or on the ExplorOz website. Ask them to download this app - it's free!

Install Tracker on other family devices to monitor their movements (e.g., ensuring children reach school safely, tracking a partner who runs or cycles, or monitoring a family member on holiday). Simply log in to the app with your Member account to control the settings. Each app download is free!

I had problems with reliable tracking in Tracker in the paid app Traveller and paid for the 2019Topo offline offering hoping that would improve. It is useless in the (live) offline mode in a urban area. The supplier won' t refund my money for the paid Topo app.Tracker is free but you have to be a paid up member to enable it

Terrible I tried to create an account with the newly downloaded app as instructed, and it simply would not register. I tried re-installing but it was the same, and the link in the help section was also dead. I even allowed all permissions, and I'm doing all this from a 2020 galaxy device. This was recommended to me as a back-up navigation service as I do a lot of outback travel, but this has left me thoroughly unimpressed. No subscription from me, I'll stick with Aus Topo Maps I think.
