Happ - Proxy Utility v3.7.1
HappDevAbout this app
Happ - Proxy Utility solves the problem of providing an advanced level of security through its proxy features, benefiting power users and those requiring enhanced online protection. With over 5 million downloads and a 4.4-star rating, it stands out in the Tools category for its well-received user experience. Compared to alternatives, Happ - Proxy Utility's lack of permissions and free, ad-free model make it an attractive option, though its specific features and functionality may not be as comprehensive as some paid alternatives. Its simplicity and user trust indicators are significant advantages.
Pros
- The app's high download numbers and positive user rating indicate a strong social proof, suggesting that it is a reliable and effective tool for those seeking proxy utility services.
- Happ - Proxy Utility's decision to not include ads and in-app purchases enhances the user experience, making it more appealing to users who value simplicity and are wary of monetization models that can compromise privacy and performance.
- The developer's transparency, with a provided website and email for support, adds to the app's credibility and trustworthiness, especially for users who value direct communication channels for feedback and issue resolution.
- The app's requirement of zero permissions is a significant advantage, minimizing potential privacy risks and making it an attractive option for users who are cautious about data collection and security.
- Regular updates, as indicated by the version history, suggest that the developer is committed to maintaining and improving the app, which is crucial for a tool that needs to stay ahead of security challenges.
Cons
- One concern is the lack of detailed information about the specific security features and how they compare to more comprehensive, possibly paid, security solutions, which might leave some advanced users seeking more detailed technical specifications.
- The app's simplicity, while a pro for many, might also be a con for power users who require more advanced features and customization options, potentially limiting its appeal to a broader range of users.
- Without more detailed information on the developer's data collection and usage policies beyond the lack of permissions, some users might remain cautious about the app's privacy implications, especially in a category where trust is paramount.
- The app's performance and compatibility across different devices and Android versions could be a concern, as with any app, and users should be aware of potential issues, especially if they are using older devices or less common Android versions.
Best for: The ideal user for Happ - Proxy Utility is likely a tech-savvy individual or someone with specific security needs, such as those working with sensitive information or living in areas with restricted internet access, who values simplicity, security, and transparency in their tools, and is looking for a reliable, free solution to enhance their online protection without compromising their privacy or device performance.

Please consider adding an option to sort the configurations by TCPING speed in a future update. This would allow users to easily see and connect to the fastest server directly from the main screen. It would greatly improve usability and save time when choosing the best configuration.
Great app, and unlike other Xray clients, Happ doesn't leak DNS or expose the real location. The only problem is that this app doesn't support XHTTP transmission.
after the connection to vmess servers the app automatically disconnected after two updates the same problem exist
after the latest update, It's not stable and disconnects after a while!
sometimes can't connect with any servers and when close app and re open it all servers removed. 😥👎 even 1 star is too much for this app.
